Like supermarkets and their gradual transition to a 100% self-scan checkout, hosting providers are moving their customer services and even tech support behind a large paywall. With many, there's no longer a phone number to call and the instant chat has either been replaced by a chat bot or removed altogether, leaving the customer alone or with the options of opening a support ticket (which takes weeks to get a response) or visiting a help page with solutions to only a small handful of generic problems. Increasingly, customer support is available only for the big corporations that can afford it, sometimes costing millions.

Apex IT Services is a small but mighty data center which was born from the resentment of tech giants and their lack of cooperation when approached by customers at the smaller end of the scale.

At Apex, we pride ourselves with putting the customer before profits and without making any of them feel like a sausage in a sausage factory. We don't charge a premium for priority support, we make it available to everyone whilst keeping our prices as competitive as possible.

An Independent Vision

Many of today's hosting providers simply leverage a Virtual Private Server that belongs to a tech giant or resell the hosting services under a white label scheme, a supply chain which adds cost and complexity for the client. The future for Apex is one in which we remain independent, we own our own servers and our own infrastructure. We're committed to keeping everything in-house in order to give our customers the sort of experience that can only come from dealing directly with the supplier.
